CAB Files in C:\Windows\Temp

I noticed a bunch of CAB_xxxxx files in C:\Windows\Temp. This happened a couple of times after Windows Updates were installed. To fix this:

1. Go to C:\Windows\Logs\CBS and delete the CBSpersist*.log files.
2. Then delete the CAB files in C:\Windows\Temp.

Check the C:\Windows\Temp folder in about 30 minutes. No more CAB files should be created. Until the next round of Windows Updates that is…
